Great little pots to keep the extra coffee piping hot for a second cup. They look and work great
This 800 ml version fulfills a big need in many small gatherings. You may not want to lug around a large pitcher half-filled with coffee, nor may you want to serve guests out of a traveler's cup. This attractive, durable, and highly efficient (except for a slight issue, later mentioned) thermos is ideal. It keeps beverages hot, as is not unusual, and has a capacity design that doesn't dominate the table. The one quirk is that after dispensing, there's always more liquid that hasn't poured out. You can release the valve lever, but coffee is still gathered around the large mouthed rim. You can see it and notice it when you place the carafe back on the serving tray. But this is a small inconvenience. Worth every cent.
The pitcher top does not work Going to return
This is my third Lafeeca product. I have 2 coffee carafes, one for coffee and one for tea. I love the style and the function. When I put it on the table, friends comment on how great it looks. I have the copper one for coffee, and the black one for tea. They keep beverages hot for a long time.
I love the thermal coffee carafe. It keeps my coffee hot the entire time the coffee is in the carafe. Some reviewers say the carafe splashes the coffee out or doesn't pour out quickly enough. The flow rate, compared to a carafe with no lid just a pour spout, is reduced but still fast enough to fill a cup fairly quickly. This is a non-issue in my opinion. When the carafe gets down to the last three or 4 ounces of coffee is when there might be a problem with the pour. If you aren't careful it can splash out and make a bit of a mess, so if you have a table cloth you need to be a little careful. What I do is tip the carafe over so that the spout is completely inside the coffee cup, that way if there is any splash it will be contained inside the cup. Overall, I am very happy with the carafe and glad that I bought it.
This is our second carafe. And there’s nothing wrong at all with the first one. You know how you love a product so much and then when you need to replace it, you find they no longer make it? That’s why I got a second one. LOL I’m not anticipating any problems with this one. Almost two years of daily use without a hitch. But I’ve had to replace some other long held and cherished items recently, and nowhere to be found. This is just perfect for the two of us, keeps coffee warm for hours and my pour through filter fits perfectly on top.
