What is the carafe made of?
The interior and exterior are both made with premium 18/8 stainless steel, and the outside features a durable, condensation-free powder-coated finish. The lid is made of BPA-free plastic.

Stainless steel resists odors, and a simple rinse with baking soda or lemon water keeps it fresh.
How to deep clean the lid?
-The top part of the lid (where the stainless steel button has airflow spaces and doesn’t come into contact with internal water line. Rinse it thoroughly with clean water and let it dry naturally overnight.
-To clean the spout and internal water line, soak the lid in warm baking soda water. Press the stainless button so the solution flows through the spout. Let it sit overnight, rinse thoroughly, and it should feel like new.
