Can it handle hot water?
The Lafeeca Essence carafe is made from BPA-free Tritan™, which is highly durable and heat resistant.
It can safely handle temperatures from -40°C to 100°C (-40°F to 212°F). That means it's great for cold brew, iced tea, and even hot water up to boiling.
⚠️ Warning: Do not expose to direct flame, stovetop burners, microwave, ovens, or other extreme heat sources.
How long should I steep the coffee?
Shake it well and steep for 12–36 hours depending on your strength preference.
For a smooth brew, 16–24 hours in the fridge is ideal.
Why is the coffee darker at the bottom of the carafe?
The coffee appears darker at the bottom because fine particles and heavier coffee oils naturally settle over time during brewing.
